Learning to live without recognition

Taken from ragulan’s blog:

LEARNING TO LIVE WITHOUT RECOGNITION IS A SKILL!

If anyone ever tells you that your work is unprofessional, remember that amateurs built the Ark and professionals built the Titanic.

DON’T LOOK TO BECOME A PERSON OF SUCCESS, LOOK INSTEAD TO BECOME A PERSON OF VALUE!

Below a very touching ad I found via ragulan’s blog on marketing.

I believe it is important to keep in mind the reasons for doing/learning something. You won’t give up so easily when you have a clear idea of what you would like to do with your newly acquired skill. Learning Chinese or another language should really be seen as a way of offering a gift to yourself. In return for sacrificing a few hours a week of free time you will gain an extra language, an additional culture, a new identity, greater self-esteem and so on.

What do you think about this?

Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere

Learning (insert your language here) is a gift to yourself.
